Avishkaar Learning Programs(ALPs)
Avishkaar Learning Programs are our In-School Robotics Programs for students with a hands-on and fun-driven learning approach. Developed by academicians and seasoned Educators, our Robotronic's Program allows children to use their imagination and discover an exciting and important connection with real world applications, an experience that is vital for success in the 21st century. Our Robotics Programs can be integrated within the school curriculum and covers lesson plans with specific learning outcomes, assessments and teacher training for smooth execution and implementation of the program.
Grades: VI and VII
Instructional Hours: 10- 40 hours
Kit Used: Robotronics Full E Series
The curriculum is mapped to the class concepts and comprises of well laid out lesson plans with in-built assessment and feedback mechanism.
What will students learn?
Our Middle School program teaches and encourages a wide variety of 21st-century skills crucial at this age such as creative thinking, confidence, problem-solving, concentration and team work.
What will students make?
Students get exposure to design and programming. They work on Robotronics FULL to build automated Robots. They also get a chance to take part in International Competition!
ENABLING 21ST CENTURY SKILLS THROUGH ROBOTRONICS FULL
With Avishkaar Middle School Program, a school can grow their student's creative problem-solving skills and enable them to become the critical thinkers and creators of the future. These solutions enable students to understand challenging subjects, encourage them to develop critical thinking skills, grow their ideas, and make their own creations through playful learning experiences. INTRODUCTION TO PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE OF ROBOTRONICS FULL
Once the students have mastered the skill of designing the Robots, the time is right to introduce them to the environment of programming. Programming is introduced in Grade VI with Robo G on the Robotronics FULL kit. The students learn about various concepts of programming like Variables and constants and various decision control structures like Loops, While etc. They use these constructs to program Robots to perform various tasks like mopping the floor, draw various shapes or even create a fibonacci sequence on the brain's LCD Screen. Students analyze, design, build and program stationary real world inspired models.
WORKING WITH VARIOUS SENSORS IN ROBOTRONICS FULL
Over the course of Grade VI, children not only learn programs to perform a different kind of mechanical tasks but also interact with their environments using different kind of sensors. Grade VII is all about getting introduced to different kinds of functions, global variables and various methods of communications. These two years ensure that students would have a solid background in programming and logic development using Robotronics FULL kit.
INTERNATIONAL ROBOTRONICS CHALLENGE - IRC LEAGUE
Kids get to experience the excitement that comes with building and competing with their robots through our popular International Robotronics Challenge – IRC League. Guided by mentors and their own imaginations, students solve real-world world challenges, develop crucial life skills, and learn to make positive contributions to society.
